Town of Kingston, New York
The town of Kingston located northwest of the City of Kingston, New York, inside Catskill Park. In the Town of Kingston the Ulster County Real Estate market is driven by commuters and small business, the area is mostly residential with only 7+ miles of road. When Bluestone was in demand the towns quarries boomed. The original Town of Kingston was settled around 1611, primarily as a military post, but that part of the town is now the City of Kingston. The town was formed by a patent granted in 1667. The quarrying industry brought many immigrant laborers to the town.
